In the wake of the Corona Virus pandemic, many celebrities have come forward with donations to provide relief to people who are in need of this lockdown period. These generous gestures of them got a lot of appreciation among the people.
On the other side, some are trolling the celebrities who have stayed away from the donations. Most of the celebrities haven't made any announcements yet. In this context, talented director Deva Katta has responded through twitter.
He said " I personally know few beautiful hearts within the industry who contributed significantly toward COVID-19 and many other causes but purposefully didn't want to publicize. They see it as a personal/spiritual act. Those who announce have a point; it motivates others and creates a +ve chain reaction. It's utterly insensitive to pre-empt d silent contributors with stupid assumptions. It's our responsibility to understand their perspective. Charity is not a rowdy mamool under social pressure!"
