She joined hands with Puri Jagannath, the producer and director to be his executive producer and also an employee of Puri Connects.
Talking about Puri Connects, she said that some people think P is for Puri and C is for Charmee, and it is not correct. She then quipped, "I don't want to answer to everyone about what happens in my life. It is my life and not everyone is involved with it."
She continued, "I am a heroine, a famous one at that. Puri sir is a male and I am a female, so, everyone thinks such way. They talk about it in a certain way. Even if I try to say there are wrong they won't believe me.
The society is not paying my bills, they are not giving me work. I can't stop myself, because someone is thinking about me in a certain way."
She further said, "People need to concentrate on their lives more than others and what is happening in others personal space. I don't want to go deeper into the issue than this."
