'Chatrapathi' Trailer: High On Action & Elevation!
By: Tupaki Desk | 2 May 2023 3:07 PMBellamkonda Sreenivas is all set to make his Hindi debut with 'Chatrapathi' which is hitting the screens worldwide on 12th May. The Telugu audience are curious to find out how the team remade their blockbuster film which was directed by SS Rajamouli back in 2005. There are good expectations on this movie and star Telugu director VV Vinayak is handling this Hindi remake. Ped Studios has produced this flick and the trailer came out recently.
While the original film shows the hero's family as migrants from Sri Lanka, the remake showcases that they migrate from Pakistan to India in 1985. As we know, the protagonist is in search of his mother and a younger brother who gets separated from him during the time of migration. After enduring a lot of oppression, he goes against powerful people to fight for the rights of his people.
The backdrop has been shifted convincingly to connect with the Hindi audience and Bellamkonda Sreenivas looks amazing. He has the physique to play this macho man role who has a heart of gold. He did not dub for himself in Hindi and the dubbing artist did a very good job. He is looks rugged and has the mass appeal. The mother sentiment too was showcased well and the high-octane action sequences will be the highlight of this movie. Nushrratt Bharuccha looks quite glamorous in the trailer and we need to see if the love track between the couple works or appears way too cheesy.
The cinematography by Nizar Ali Shafi is top-notch. Though one cannot forget the iconic BGM of 'Chatrapathi' composed by Keeravani, Tanishk Bagchi's background score works well to elevate the mass and action side of the movie. The production values of Pen Studious are magnificent. Pen Studios made this film on a grand budget while Rajamouli's father KV Vijayendra Prasad who penned the story for the original is the writer for the remake version as well.
Sahil Vaid, Amit Nair, Rajendra Gupta, Shivam Patil, Swapnil, Ashish Singh, Mohammad Monajir, Auroshika Dey, Vedika, Jason and others played key roles. The trailer proves that VV Vinayak made minor changes to the script but kept the soul of Rajamouli's flick intact. It looks like the team did a good job and we need to wait and see how the audience embrace this remake.
