Cheating Case Booked Against Saaho Producers!
By: Tupaki Desk | 18 Oct 2019 5:04 AM GMTYet again, Prabhas-starrer Action Entertainer made headlines for all the wrong reasons. A Bengaluru-based Bag Maker filed a cheating case against the Producers of 'Saaho'.
Outshine India Pvt Ltd, which manufactures luggage bags under the brand name Arctic Fox, lodged a complaint in Madhapur Police Station accusing Saaho Producers of cheating it to the tune of Rs 37 lakh. How did that happen?
Actually, The Bag Manufacturer offered Rs 1.40 crore to 'Saaho' Makers as per the in-film branding deal. According to the agreement, the Arctic Fox brand has to be promoted in some way or the other through the biggie. But now, Outshiny India Pvt Ltd feels it's been cheated as the Producers hadn't bothered to honor the agreement by offering coverage to the brand in the final output of the movie.
Outshiny India Marketing Head Vijay Rao complains his company's brand image and reputation were hit due to the violation of the agreement by Saaho Producers. He demands reimbursement of the losses (Rs 13,849,000) incurred by the company in the form of payment made to Saaho Makers and other promotional activities linked to the movie.
