Cheery defeats Mahesh 1 by 2!!
By: Tupaki Desk | 20 April 2014 12:52 PM GMTRam Charan's commercial potboiler 'Yevadu' was released on 12th of January, 2014 and is successfully completing its 100 days run directly in three centers across the state on 21st of April. Below is the list of theatres .
* GUDIWADA ( KRISHNA)
* ADONI ( CEDED)
* EMMIGANORE ( CEDED)
Much debate was happened before the release of ‘Yevadu’ as it was stalled in Labs for more than a year and expected to face stringent competition from Mahesh ONE movie.Both the films were released in two days gap and Yevadu won the race at Box office.
Though ‘Yevadu’ released a couple of days after Mahesh Babu’s ‘1 – Nenokkadine’, it seems to have caught up and is showing a lot of promise. Though both films fall under the same genre, “Revenge Drama”, Yevadu seems to be more viewer friendly with the right mix of commercial elements.
‘Nenokkadine’ opened to mixed reviews. While some called it a novel and interesting plot, others were not very impressed with its “Complex” story and Screenplay.
Though the collections and revenue figures have been controversial from the first day itself, the film has garnered a huge critical acclaim. Irrespective of the acceptance by the masses, Nenokkadine can easily be termed as one of those rare experimental flicks in Telugu Film Industry. As per the official reports, 1-Nenokkadine has completed 100 days run at Padmapriya Theater, Thaatipaaka.
So finally Cherry won the race over Mahesh 1 by 2 theatres.
