Thaman decided to shock audiences with his 2.0 avatar. Many praised him as a musical genius who is wasting himself with regular movies and albums at times.
But he has a problem of taking "inspiration" from a tune and replicating it almost exactly. He doesn't work on it more to change the tune entirely, one feels so.
For every tune of his, everyone of his listeners are ready to find the original source and even bet that he won't change anything from the original except for few instruments.
The composer took these criticisms to heart and came up with fresh tunes to answer them all. But he seems to be back to his olden ways.
Disco Raja teaser music had an old English song inspiration and now, Prathi Roju Pandage, new song has inspiration from song, Veyi Subhamulu Kalugu Neeku - Sri Krishna Arjuna Yuddham.
Lyrics from poet Seetharama Sastry are the major highlight of the song but for music lovers the old song inspiration might be slightly distracting. If the film becomes a hit, many may not care for the inspiration though.
Maruthi Dasari is directing the film with Sai Tej and Raashi Khanna as leads. Satyaraj, Rao Ramesh are acting supporting leads. Movie is releasing on 20th December.
