Chiru.. All time Megastar

Chiranjeevi is next to the Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan - Kollywood & National Super Star Rajinikanth in terms of image and fan following. Even though Chiranjeevi ruled Telugu film industry for decadeds..became a central minister after entering into politics, he is confined to South. He is not so popular in north.
When it comes to South Chiru is extremely popular. You hardly find a person who doesn't know Chiranjeevi in South. That is the popularity of Chiranjeevi. He came up with his re entry film 'Khaidi No.150' recently after ten years gap, the movie helped Chiru to continue his Megastar image in South. We have not come across a star who can overtake in tems of star image or his records in Telugu. As he was away from the films many thought that he lost his charm.. they doubted that he can't do magic like before. But Khaidi gave answers to all these questions.
It has been ten long years he left the films.. When Chiranjeevi was in the industry ther was no need to ask the question.."Who is number one.. becauase the same hero ruled Tollywod for 25 years. No other hero could come close to him. That is the stamina of Megastar. Chiru proved that he is the one who could do everything... in rewards.. awards.. breaking the box office records.
Chiru ruled industry from 1983 to 2007. He left films in 2007 after 'Shakar Dada Zindabad'. From then onwards fight is going on for the number one chair in Tollywood. But nobody could achieve it. Even though Pawan - Mahesh are frontrunners of the race, neither of them could occupy that position. Surprisingly the competition between them is still continuing between them. Meanwhile Chiru gave his re-entry. He claimed his number one chair immediately.. Khaidi No.150 collections are example for this.
Paawan - Mahesh - NTR - Prabhas were in the race till now. But Chiru gave his re-entry after 10 years...on the very first day of Khaidi release he created all time first day record. He achieved Highest collections by crossing the mighty Bahubali on day one. Khaidi collected 24 crores from AP & Telangana. Chiru collected 100 crore gross and 80 crore share in just 6 days. Fans are saying that Chiru is creating all these records with a remake film.. if he could have done a straight film, the result will be much better.. Even though Balayya competed Chiuru in the Sankranthi season with Gautami Putra Satakarni, he could not touch Chiranjeevi collections -wise eventhough his film got good appreciation.
Last but not the least, even though he could not acheive the the CM throne in Politics... his Megastar throne in Tollywood is intact till now.
