To have him as Producer is My Luck: Chiru

Speaking to media persons, Chiru said: "Edida Nageswara Rao came to the Industry to become an actor and finally settled down as a Producer who always believed quality cinema rather than attempting commercial subjects. Films produced by him fetched recognition and respect for Telugu films across the World. I played a guest role in 'Tayaramma, Bangarayya' and its my first film under Purnodaya banner. Later, I acted in films such as Swayamkrushi and Apatbandhavudu which fetched me awards and remained as memorable films even Today. Each film of his is a classic and I feel lucky to have him as my Producer. My heart felt condolences to the family members. May his soul rest in peace".
Edida Nageswara Rao's body was placed at Shankarabharanam Nivasam at Film Nagar Today morning. The last rites would be performed at Mahaprasthanam crematorium in the evening. Films such as Shankarabharanam (1979), Seetakoka Chiluka (1981), Sagarasangamam (1983), Sitara (1984), Swatimutyam (1986), Swayamkrushi (1987) and Apatbandhavudu (1991) remained as all-time classics. Mr.Rao is survived by wife and a son.
