Chiranjeevi is Thinking from Industry ViewPoint on Ticket Hike!
By: Tupaki Desk | 26 April 2022 12:16 PM GMTTelangana government has been supporting the Tollywood film industry whenever any help is required. The government had permitted the hike of the movie ticket price for films like RRR. Coming to the rescue of the Tollywood film industry yet again, the Telangana Sarkar had given its nod for increasing the ticket prices for Megastar Chiranjeevi's Acharya.
Many wonder what's the need of increasing the prices, while the ticket prices are already soaring in the state. Not just the common audiences, Mega fans also think the same as it would cost a bomb to watch the special shows.
The question of whether it is necessary to hike the movie tickets was put forth before Chiranjeevi at the press meet as he is busy promoting his Acharya. Reacting to the question, Chiranjeevi had backed the decision saying that the industry was hit by the pandemic and it needs such a boost.
Listing out the issues faced by the industry, Chiranjeevi said that the cost of filmmaking went up and the interest that is paid also increased massively. Talking about the taxes, Chiranjeevi alleged that they are paying 42 percent tax and asked what's wrong with asking for some benefits.
Well, it's good that Chiranjeevi is thinking about the wellness of the industry. But it is imposing a burden on common people and movie lovers. The movie tickets in big theatres and multiplexes became out of reach of the movie lovers already. Who will talk about this is the main question here.
