Why Chiranjeevi Attended Chalo Event?

Mega star Chiranjeevi is one of the top actors in the Telugu film industry. Yesterday, he made a surprise presence at the pre release function of Chalo. When it was announced that Chiranjeevi is going to attend the pre release function as chief guest, everyone was in a surprise mode. But finally Chiranjeevi himself revealed the reason behind the same.
"Most of you have might have been wondering why I have attended this function as I and Naga Shourya has no connection with each other. I want to recollect an incident now. When I'm in Naga Shourya's position in the industry in the initial days, I wanted a star hero to attend my film function which would have given a big boost for my career. When I invited him, he tried his best but in the last minute, he could not make it to the event because of his busy schedules. I was very much disappointed then but we continued the event as a formality.
When Naga Shourya has approached me and invited me to come for this event, I have similar thoughts and I have seen myself in Naga Shourya. After trying multiple times for my appointments, i told him to come one day and he came with his mother to invite me for this event. With out a second thought, I told him yes.
I have not seen any of Shourya's movies but I have seen his film Okka Manasu with Niharika and he has put an impressive performance." Chiranjeevi said.
