The much-awaited Movie Artists Association (MAA) elections row is turning ugly with the shocking comments coming from the members of the body.
As a big development, actress Hema had recently made shocking comments against current President Naresh alleging that he is deliberately postponing the elections with an intention to continue as the President.
She went on to allege that MAA funds were misused and sought an account of the funds spent.
Naresh hit back saying that Hema's comments are disrespectful in manner to the MAA President and said funds were not misused.
With the MAA issue hitting the headlines for the wrong reasons, Megastar Chiranjeevi, who holds the post of Honourary President post in MAA has entered the scene.
The Undisputed King of Tollywood, Chiranjeevi who has been keeping his silence on the issue had broken his silence on this.
To see that the issue won't turn uglier, Megastar Chiranjeevi sought the commencement of the MAA elections as soon as possible.
Demanding the same, Chiranjeevi has written to senior Actor-producer Rebel Star Krishnam Raju in this regard. Krishnam is the head of the disciplinary committee of MAA.
Saying that the delay in the commencement of the elections are impacting the welfare schemes carried out by the MAA body, Chiranjeevi put forth his demand for the elections.
