Amidst all the hype, 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' came into the theatres and as expected recorded huge numbers on Day1. Though there was a dip in the second-day collections, the numbers are expected to increase at the weekend and may have a break-even in ten days. But this all about the Telugu version. The situation is quite the opposite in Hindi.
The Hindi version collected a net worth of 2.5 crores on its first day and it's better not to discuss the second day's collections. Locking horns with 'War' proved to be a costly mistake as the entire North voted for Hrithik starrer and not 'Sye Raa'. Though the collections may see a rise in the weekend, its never going to reach its 25 crore mark for which it was sold. Compared to 'Saaho', 'Sye Raa' received favorable reviews from Hindi critics. But having a solo release and being the very next film from Prabhas after 'Baahubali' worked in favor of 'Saaho'.
With such below par collections, 'Sye Raa' in all likelihood may end up as a disaster in Hindi.
