Christmas Box Office Fight Looks Interesting!

Until few years ago, December used to be seen as a bad month or month before big holiday, Sankranthi which resulted in the collections being low during the month. Hence, not many used to release their film during the month too.
Now, on 21st December to make use of the holidays, 4 biggies are releasing on same day. Biggies, yes we can call them because of the budgets and stakes.
First one to catch our eye is Padi Padi Leche Manasu with Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi as the romantic pair. Hanu Raghavapudi is directing the film and it has a killer romantic album. But the movie budget is said to be good over 30 crores and its recovery will be a big question.
Anthariksham with Varun Tej, Aditi Rao Hydari, Lavanya Tripathi in lead roles and space as the major story backdrop is releasing on 21st. Sankalp Reddy is making the movie and his Ghazi impressed many. Children and families will give this movie a try if it gets good Word of Mouth.
KGF being the raw and rustic action drama could gain Student and young audiences support, if the movie lives upto the hype. The visuals of Prashanth Neel are seen as the major plus point for the movie, with Kannada Star Yash as the main lead.
Maari 2 is one of the most anticipated films with Dhanush getting back into most liked Don avatar. But the movie promotions in Telugu haven't been good.
On top of these four releases, Shah Rukh Khan most awaited Zero is also releasing on the same day. Looks like a busy weekend for South and North Indian markets.
