Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar is known as a specialist in launching star kids. There were several discussions going on in the Bollywood media regarding the heroine of 'Student Of The Year' sequel. It is known that Karan launched Alia Bhatt as the heroine with 'Student Of The Year'. She has achieved star status within short period. So, everybody is eager to know the heroine of second part.
Senior Bollywood actor Chunky Pandey's daughter Ananya Pandey has got the opportunity as a heroine in this film. She is going to romance Tiger Shroff in the movie. Several names have been reported in the media for this role in the recent past before finalising Ananya. Disha Patani was the first name heard for this film. Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara Ali Khan name surfaced in the media later. But Saif's first wife Amrita Singh said to have objected Sara's debut. Sridevi daughter Jhanvi Kapoor name started doing rounds in the media later. Finally, the offer landed up in Ananya's kitty.
Ananya has started her preparations for the film already. She is attending acting & dancing classes. She is also getting trained under fitness coach Yasmin Karachiwala for to maintain fit & slim look. While speaking on her film debut Chunky Pandey said that "I think she should get her own recognition..not as my daughter".
