Clean Chit To Tollywood Celebs In Drugs Case

Drugs Racket Case drew the attention of the nation as several Tollywood Celebrities were questioned for hours and their samples were sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory. An RTI Petition moved by a Social Activist disclosed some interesting details about the investigation.
Excise Officials filed four chargesheets in the drug racket case. As many as 12 cases were booked in connection with the drug scandal. Special Investigation Team (SIT) recorded statements, collected hair strands and nails of around 62 Film Celebs including Heroes, Heroines, Character Artistes, Technicians and Junior Artistes. None of the names of 11 Tollywood Popular Celebs have been mentioned in the chargesheets. It means, All of them have been given a clean chit.
The list include...Raviteja, Puri Jagannath, Shyam K Naidu, Subbaraju, Navdeep, Tarun, Charmee, Mumaith Khan, Tanish, Navapada Dharma Rao (Chinna), Nandu, Raviteja's Car Driver Srinivas.
South African National Rafale Alex Victor's name featured in one the chargesheets. He was arrested in August 2017 on the charge of supplying cocaine to Hyderabad from Mumbai.
