'Rangasthalam' is turning out to be the best film in the career of Mega Powerstar Ram Charan. The movie is running successfully at the box office. Mega fans are delighted with the 'Rangasthalam' as they were disappointed with the result of 'Agnyaathavaasi'. Interestingly, there were some doubts on the lengthy runtime of the film before the release of 'Rangasthalam'. There was a talk that movie prospects at the box office will suffer if the runtime is long.
'Rangasthalam' unit didn't bother about the runtime because of special screening arranged for Megastar Chiranjeevi. Director Sukumar wanted to reduce the duration of the film but Megastar reportedly told him not to cut a single scene from the film. So the final run time locked at 2 hrs. 50 minutes. But Sukumar reportedly edited out some scenes even before he arranged the screening for Chiranjeevi.
Comedian Prudhvi scenes were scissored from the movie as per the buzz. Though Prudhvi comedy was planned very well by Sukumar in some scenes, he scissored those scenes because didn't find better option to decrease the runtime. So, 10 minutes of Prudhvi scenes were removed in the editing as per the information. Though audience missed Prudhvi comedy in the film they can watch his scenes when the movie digital version releases.
