'I don't have stature to receive Nandi Award'

Star Comedian Pruthvi responded on the Nandi Awards announced by AP Government for the past three years in his style. 'The choice of winners for the Nandi Awards announced by Government wasn't pleasing. I expected Best Comedian award for 'Loukyam'. Unfortunately, It didn't happen! I don't know why it's been like this even though a veteran like Giribabu is part of the Jury,' he said.
Pruthvi commented in a sarcastic manner that Jury Members might have felt he don't have the stature to receive a Nandi Award. 'Once, Kota Srinivasa Rao told Awards which were obtained by lobbying will heckle those who receive them. People would say to Me…we like your acting & whether you get awards or not doesn't matter. A lot of people have the feeling that good actors won't be given awards,' commented the Actor.
The Comedian opined announcing the Awards after the completion of calendar year will be a good idea rather than maintaining a gap of 2-3 years.
A lot of celebrities haven't been happy with the Nandi Awards list. A serious debate is happening on social media over the same issue on social media.
