AR Rahaman emerged as the only double Oscar Winning Indian for the movie 'Slumdog Millionaire'. Yet another film for which he composed music has been in Oscar race now.
'Muhammad: The Messenger of God', an Iranian flick directed by Majid Majidi, has been chosen as Iran's official entry for Oscar Awards this year in the Best Foreign Language Film category.
Unfortunately, India's Raza Academy has issued a Fatwa against AR Rahman just because of composing music for this Iranian flick.
'Muhammad: The Messenger of God' has turned out to be a blockbuster in Iran. Recently, AR Rahman even attended the special screening of the movie at Hamadan.
Notably, Majid Majidi another film 'Children Of Heaven' too got nominated for Oscars.
