Meeting Trivikram Is My First Mistake!
By: Tupaki Desk | 15 Oct 2018 5:50 AM GMTTrivikram Srinivas kept facing criticism for denying credits to the original writers or creators while copying their work in some way or the other. This is what happened in the case of 'A..Aa' and 'Agnyaathavaasi'. And now, 'Aravindha Sametha' was embroiled in a controversy due to the same reason.
Writer Vempalli Gangadhar, who was a recipient of Sahitya Academy Yuva Puraskar Award, accused Trivikram of not giving him either credits or remuneration inspite of using his works on Rayalaseema Faction & In-depth knowledge for 'Aravindha Sametha'.
Vempalli Gangadhar received a call from Trivikram on April 15th, 2018 asking him to reach Ramoji Film City where the opening action sequence was filmed. In the shot gap, Trivikram enquired about the stories penned by the Writer and Rayalaseema dialects. Content in his 'Hiranya Rajyam' book were taken as inspiration for Heroine Pooja Hegde's Role. 'Mondi Kathi' which was his first among Papagni Stories was also used effectively by Trivikram throughout the movie.
Upon realizing that he was denied credits, Vempalli Gangadhar opined: 'Meeting Trivikram and sharing my stories with him is the first mistake I had committed. I worked with them for 3 days without any payment. We get cheated in such manner if we meet Directors like Trivikram who doesn't even offer credits for creators. Trivikram is an intelligent stupid. He can make a new dish by taking something from each one of our works. 'Aravindha Sametha' is no different'.
