Corona To Damage Tollywood's Summer season!

The dangerous Coronavirus is shaking the entire world and it is no wonder why it is creating such a panic among the Indian public as they are not ready to leave their houses. The film business is the most affected one because of this virus. As it is the examination season, the footfalls near the theatres have dropped drastically. The collections took a severe beating and it became worse with the outbreak of Coronavirus.
The theatres have been shut down in Kerala and if the situation gets worse, the same thing may happen in the Telugu states too. The films which were supposed to release in March are revising their dates now. If the virus gets controlled in the next few weeks, these films may hit the screens as planned.
As the news of postponement is in full swing, the filmmakers have to promote their films aggressively if they want to bring people into the theatres. If not, there is a great chance for people not to come to theatres to avoid Corona risk which will affect the film's fortunes very badly.
Experts predict that the entire summer season is going to be dull this time as no star hero is arriving during this season except Pawan Kalyan who comes during the end. With Coronavirus acting as an additional factor, box-office may remain completely silent this season. Let us wait and see how Tollywood comes out of this tough time.
