As a new shock for the actress, a metropolitan court had refused to entertain the plea that was filed by Kangana Ranaut in connection with the case.
Kangana Ranaut had knocked on the doors of the additional chief metropolitan Magistrate on Thursday seeking directives to transfer the defamation case to any other Magistrate from Magistrate RR Khan. The petition had come up for the hearing on Thursday.
Giving a shock to the actress, Magistrate Dande had refused to transfer the case saying that there is no reason to accept the request. Talking about the summons issued by the Magistrate, Dande reportedly said that Andheri metropolitan Magistrate followed the process in serving summons to Kangana.
Reports say that through her advocate, Kangana Ranaut told the court that Magistrate RK Khan had served a summons to her despite her advocate representing her in the court. Saying this as the reason, she sought a transfer of the case. Kangana's lawyer also said the same reportedly.
On the other hand, the lawyer representing Javed Akhtar in the case had placed arguments saying that Kangana Ranaut had missed the hearing in the case earlier instead of her, the counsel had appeared before the lower court.
