DAM-The only commonality between Indra & Lingaa

Super Star Rajinikanth's upcoming entertainer Lingaa featuring beauties Anushka and Sonakshi under KS.Ravikumar's direction is releasing on Dec 12. The film was in controversy after a Chennai based producer filed complaint saying that the film was a copy to Chiranjeevi starrer Indra movie.
Does the film really inspired from Indraa movie?What was the actual story of Lingaa?Here we got to know some exclusive information about the film and if we went on comparing both film stories we found a only similarity and that was about Dam construction.
Its known that Indra film story revolves around a man surviving the murders of his family members and his return and success in building a dam for the villagers.The movie is about a hero who sacrifices all his property and leaves his village to build a reservoir.
Coming to Lingaa the film story revolves around construction of Dam.But unlike Indraa movie here Rajini is playing dual roles and one as father and other as son.
The construction of this dam is feeding factor for farmers but father Rajini fails in his attempt to construct a dam by fighting with British. Son Rajinikanth takes charge as collector at same region and how he fights against all odds to finish the dam is rest of story.
Now if we compare both the stories Indraa was complete faction based and Lingaa was having shades of historical film.However we need to wait and see whether both films have any other similarities except a Dam.
Meanwhile Madras High Court has asked the producers of the movie Lingaa to pay ?10 crore in cash related to the case. Producer of the film Rockine Venkatesh reportedly agreed to pay ?5 crore as deposit and ?5 crore as guarantee on time. The makers have assured that the film will be released as per schedule on 12 December.
