Aamir Khan-starrer 'Dangal' is setting records even before its theatrical release. The Satellite deal of this biggie is something which is unheard till date.
Zee Cinema bagged the Satellite Rights of 'Dangal' for a whopping Rs 75 crore. While Rs 55 crore has been on the Minimum Guarantee (MG) basis, Rest of the Rs 20 crore will be paid to the Producer if the sports-based flick crosses Rs 200 crore-mark at the Box Office.
Yashraj's 'Dhoom 3' starring Aamir and Katrina fetched Rs 65 crore from the sale of Satellite Rights. That record is being broken now by a margin of Rs 10 crore.
Aamir Khan & Walt Disney collaborated to produce 'Dangal'. Of course, Walt Disney has got only 30% stake in the movie. Being made on a moderate budget, 'Dangal' earned huge table profit for the Producers already.
Looking at the buzz created with physical transformation of Aamir Khan and trailers, Trade Circles expect 'Dangal' to enter Rs 300 crore club within just 10 days.
