Big Twist: Dangal Yet To Earn Rs.2000 cr

There are several discussions are going on in the social media on the topic of fake collections in the recent past. The major reason for these discussions are there is no proper mechanism to check the authenticity of collections. When filmmakers claim that their film has collected 100 crore, 200 crore.. there is no way we can cross check their claims.
Media has widely reported few days ago Aamir Khan's Dangal has created history by grossing Rs. 2,000 crore worldwide. But Aamir Khan's spokesperson has clarified recently that 'Dangal' is yet to collect Rs. 2,000 crore. He said "We have been reading several reports in the media that 'Dangal' has crossed Rs. 2,000 crore worldwide. We want to clarify that worldwide collection of Dangal as of Thursday is Rs. 1864 crore".
He also added that "We are happy with the success of Dangal and what is most value for Aamir Khan and Dangal team is the immence love that the film has received from the audience worldwide".
