Dasari Narayana Rao turned a year older on May 4th and he now entered into his 70th Year. Here are few interesting Q & As of his latest interview
Q) Secret of your Health?
Dasari) Yoga. I take care when it comes to food. That's it!
Q) How did you manage to lead the life all these years in a disciplined manner despite being in Film Industry?
Dasari) People generally work for 8 hours and uses the remaining 16 hours to take rest. In my case, I used to work 22 hours a day. Where is the time to think about anything other than Cinema?
Q) Why did you stopped directing or producing films in the recent past?
Dasari) My wife Padma's demise, political issues and AP bifurcation have disturbed me. I will be directing the film 'Pitrudevo Bhava' and play the lead role as well. Soon, I will be producing a film with my son Arun Kumar as a hero. It will be a remake of Malayalam film 'Neram'.
Q) Unfulfilled Dream?
Dasari) To make Maha Bharatam in two parts. Script work is under progress.
Q) Film Industry in Vizag?
Dasari) It will be a good movie as it has got all the facilities.
Q) Recently, D Suresh Babu commented Telugu actors and technicians haven't migrated to Hyderabad from Chennai because of love but due to tax benefits.
Dasari) May be, That's his opinion! But, We came to Hyderabad leaving our houses, lands in Madras just for the love towards AP.
Q) Will you achieve this much if you are director in current generation?
Dasari) I wouldn't have got the chance to direct. My film's first copy might have been in the Labs and I would be making rounds at the offices of distributors, exhibitors, Suresh Babu and Dil Raju. There mayn't be a Mohan Babu, Murali Mohan, Srihari, Narayana Murthy, Relangi Narasimha Rao, Raviraja Pinisetty, Kodi Ramakrishna and more in the Industry.
Q) Differences with ANR?
Dasari) ANR is my favorite hero. We made 27 film and shared a great bonding. Due to an issue, We aren't on talking terms with each other since 9 years.
