Ram gopal Varma's recent film 'Vangaveeti' has been most controversial film in the recent times. Going by the controversies surrouding the film, some doubted the film will not be released in Vijayawada theaters. But how could the film makers manage to release the film? Vangaveeti movie producer Dasari Kiran Kumar recently shared what happened behind the scenes.

He said that has convinced theater owners that Vangaveeti is based set against the backdrop of Vijayawada and its rowdyism. He told that his political experience came in handy dealing with people and to ensure the smooth release of the film. He has also thanked the police for their support by deploying the security near theaters to avoid untoward incidents.

Screening 'Vangaveeti' in Alankar theater is a notable aspect, as the theater was severely damaged during the attacks after the brutal murder of Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga in 1988.
