Dasari Narayana Rao, Tollywood Mesthri, has once again made explosive comments at a film event. The Veteran Filmmaker has always spoken about the need to make more small films rather than focusing only on high budget ventures. This time, He spoke about the dire state of Producers making low-budget movies.
Speaking at the recent event, Dasari complained: 'Small-budgeted films weren't even able to run for four days. Media isn't giving enough priority to the publicity of small movies. TV Channels aren't even bothered about these project. The situation is such that Producers are scared to make low-budget films. Publicity & Pre-release Expenses of Small Films have been exceeding their making cost. High-budget Films don't need publicity. I think Rajamouli hasn't spent a single rupee for 'Baahubali' promotions'.
Media Folks were confused whether Dasari heaped praises on 'Baahubali' or slammed Media for paying too much attention to the SS Rajamouli directorial.
