Who said TFI Stars are no match to Tamil Heroes?
By: Tupaki Desk | 30 Sep 2016 11:45 AM GMTVeteran Filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao projects himself as the savior of Low Budget Films. Yet again, He made some interesting remarks on how dubbing films have been affection the Telugu Film Industry.
Dasari: 'Our Producers were offering Rs 1 crore for the Telugu dubbing rights of Tamil flick starring a Debutante. Some of them even offer fat cheque to Tamil Producers on the launch date itself. Tamil Films were bought for Rs 1 crore to Rs 38 crore. Whereas, Even films of our Top Stars don't fetch more than Rs 50 lakhs in the Tamil circuit'.
The Senior Filmmaker explains he stopped attending the audio launches of Tamil Movies dubbed in Telugu just because he doesn't want to encourage anything that affects our Industries. 'This trend is affecting the straight Telugu films, particularly low-budget ventures,' he told.
Dasari need to realize 'Eega' and 'Baahubali: The Beginning' made by Telugu Producers were bought by Tamil Distributors for a bomb. Why regional bias? Content should speak!
