Holiday For Dasari On A Holiday !

Many serious things and events in Tollywood are turning out to be a comedy these days. There is more fun off the screen than the comedy films on screen. When a serious event is conducted for the namesake, it becomes a serious comedy. It is known that legendary director Dasari Narayana Rao passed away recently. So, Tollywood elders have announced the 11th day as the day of mourning for Telugu film industry.
They are conducting a condolence meet on the same day. They said that it is going to be a holiday for entire film industry. They are inviting all the industry bigwigs to the condolence meet. The most surprising thing is.. it is Sunday and it is holiday for 80% of the industry. Then how come they are announcing a holiday on a holiday ? Dasari was one of the key members who were behind the Telugu industry moving to Hyderabad. Telangana government has offered State honours to the funeral of Dasari and gave him a huge respect. But cinema industy is unable to announce at least 2 days as holidays.
On the other hand, why there is delay in conducting condolence meet ? They are saying that several industry elders are not present in Hyderabad. This sounds logical but announcing a holiday on a holiday is big comedy.
