Dawood behind Padmavati censor clearance

Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) issued clearance to the controversial flick 'Padmavati' after the Makers accepted its recommendations which include the change of title to 'Padmavat'. Whereas, Rajput Karni Sena remained firm on its stand to stall the release at any cost.
Karni Sena President Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi alleged CBFC has succumbed to the pressure mounted by Dawood Ibrahim. 'It's like destroying Hindutva. Padmavati is against the interest of the country. It's gonna create a law & order situation. Government would be responsible for the loss to life and property if the movie releases. Every Theatre screening Padmavati would be vandalized,' he warned.
Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Cast & Crew of 'Padmavati' will be in a fix now. Even theatre owners gonna be scared to screen the movie due to serious warnings. Several states had already imposed a ban on 'Padmavati'. Possibility of revoking the ban looks impossible for now.
