Nandi Awards: He is a big surprise

Andhra Pradesh Government surprised all by announcing the Nandi Awards at the time everybody forgot them. Telugu Film Inudustry is not in AP government purview now. The awards were conferred to the 4-5 year old movies.. so there is no much excitement like before. Tollywood celebrities.. common public are not responding on these awards. There is no discussion on these awards in the social media also.
Whenever Nandi Awards announced.. there will be discussions whether awards conferred to the eligible persons or not. Comparisons will be made with other actors and technicians. But people do not remember the films released in 2012-13. So, there is no discussion. On the other hand, Nandi Award receivers are also not much excited.
Best actor award winners Prabhas.. Nani, Best director award winner Rajamouli.. and several others have reached next level in the last few years. Moreover the awards were conferred late. Among all the winners only person who might get excited.. He is Dayaa Kodavaganti. He has won the Best Director award for 2013. This name is the most surprising in the list. As soon as the list revealed people started searching the details about him.
He received Best Director award for the movie 'Alias Janaki'. Heroine Aneesha Ambrose debuted with this film. 'Panjaa' fame Neelima Tirumalasetty produced the film. The movie didn't run well at the box office. After this film, Dayaa made another movie 'Siddhartha' and it was also a failure for him. Even though his films didn't click at the box office, he got excited forthe Nandi Award and shared his excitement though Facebook. Dayaa worked in the Pawan Kalyan team for some time in the past.
