Deadly combo back after 14 Years

Mani Ratnam and PC Sreeram were always known to be a deadly combo. They have done 6 films together and all of them have been memorable products. However, these two A-listers didn't team up again after the hugely successful 'Sakhi' starring Madhavan and Shalini.
After 14 Years, Both Mani Ratnam and PC Sreeram are back again. PC is roped as the cinematographer for Mani's upcoming flick starring Mammootty's son Dulquer Salmaan and Alia Bhatt. AR Rahman will be composing music. This film is expected to go on floors by September end.
Notably, Mani Ratnam planned a multi-starrer featuring Nagarjuna, Aishwarya Rai, Mahesh Babu and Shruti Haasan. But, Talks weren't fruitful! Even the project with Ram Charan didn't take off. Hence, Mani decided to prefer young actors rather than established stars for next.
