Uday Bhanu created a new image for herself with the show 'Niggatheesi Adugu' which is intended to question the wrongdoings of politicians and bringing out the facts.
However, This show didn't go down well with few politicos. Uday Bhanu was harassed and attacked by the supporters of politicians. "While traveling in rural areas, I always had the fear of death. But, these death threats can't stop me," she confirms.
Uday Bhanu feels bad for the fact that she hardly received any appreciation calls for 'Niggatheesi Adugu' from the Industry folks. She complains the same Industry reacts different when she just does an Item Number in a movie.
Although Politicians have invited her to join politics or campaign for money, Uday Bhanu turned down all of them and preferred social awareness program like 'Niggatheesi Adugu'.
