December Becomes The New January!

With the festive season and Republic Day coming right after that, January is regarded as the best season for releasing films. But off late, this month is completely being occupied by the big stars as they could earn high revenues. This is making it tough for medium-range films.
With Mahesh's 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' and Allu Arjun's 'Ala Vaikunthapurmlo' announcing their arrival in January, most of the medium films like nothing's 'Bheesma', Ravi Teja's 'Disco Raja', Sai Dharam's 'Prathiroju Bandage' and Sharwanand's '96' remake decided to come in December. The last two weeks of December are proving to be fruitful as Christmas holidays and New Year bring the holiday mood along with them. So, people tend to ease up from work start getting into the holiday feel. This way, December is turning as the new January for small and medium films.
Realizing this, big stars are trying to occupy this month too. Reports say that the makers of 'Venky Mama' decided to arrive in December and the same goes for Balakrishna's film with KS Ravi Kumar. With both these biggies entering the scene, the above-mentioned films are thrown into a state of worry.
