Decent First Weekend But Litmus Test Ahead For 'F3'!

Hit director Anil Ravipudi's out-and-out entertainer 'F3' has opened to positive talk right from the very first show. The family audience have received the film quite well and Venkatesh's comic timing was one of the film's biggest assets. The movie did a good pre-release business as it was sold for 60.5 crores in the Telugu states. The overall business went up to 70 crores.
The first had a very good opening weekend as it minted over 13 crores on its first day and by the end of three days, it got 12.08 crores from the Nizam area and 27.41 crores from the Andhra region. Considering the market of Venkatesh and Varun Tej, they registered very good numbers at the box office. Since the pre-release business is quite high, 'F3' has to have a great run at the box office during the weekdays too.
It needs to collect good money in order to reach the breakeven mark. On top of that, there are a few big releases lined up for the next week. Adivi Sesh's 'Major', Kamal Hassan's 'Vikram' and 'Charlie 777' are releasing on 3rd June and they have a huge buzz around them.
Apart from that Nani's 'Ante Sundaraniki' is releasing on 10th June which implies that 'F3' needs to get as much as it can by the end of this week. This is a major litmus test for this family entertainer. Let us wait and see what happens.
'F3' is directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Shirish and Dil Raju. Devi Sri Prasad gave the music while Pooja Hegde appeared in the special song. Venkatesh and Varun Tej are the lead actors while Tamannaah and Mehreen are the heroines.
