Dev Katta Makes Strong Comments On The Government!

Much acclaimed director Dev Katta who is known for making socially relatable films like 'Prasathanam', 'Auto Nagar Surya' and others is quite vocal about his opinions on social media. The director recently made a film titled 'Republic'. This film featuring Sai Dharam Tej in the lead did not perform well in theatres but it is getting a lot of praise once it is out on an OTT platform.
Deva Katta never hesitates express his views on social issues and our government. He recently made a strong comment on AP government in relation to the drastic dip in ticket rates. He said, ''Forget movie tckts, govt fixing rates on any private ''product'' in a self-correcting, demand based market economy is absolutely undemocratic, illegal & dictatorial! Since "majority" of us don't even understand this basic fact, let's just enjoy this ''wreck'' of a ride together!!''
Many people are appreciating his tweet and praising him for being bold. He made these comments as the downfall in ticket rates is becoming a huge issue. Nani recently spoke about it in the press meet and many say that more celebrities should speak on this issue.
