When NTR became Telugu Thalaiva?

We have heard about the title 'Thalaiva' every time there is a news about Superstar Rajinikanth as its that way his Tamil fans address him. But, What is this 'Telugu Thalaiva'?
Devi Sri Prasad should be given credit for inventing this new title 'Telugu Thalaiva'. The Music Sensation surprised everyone by addressing Jr NTR as 'Telugu Thalaiva' during the teaser launch of 'Kumari 21F'. DSP might have addressed Tarak that way out of love and affection but the new title mayn't be like much by the Telugu Film Lovers as it has got a Tamil flavour. Even NTR's hardcore fans weren't interested in using such a title.
May be, Devi should have preferred a Telugu title which the fans of NTR could connect instantly. Better luck next time DSP!
What about using 'Telugu Thalaiva' in the title cards for Tamil dubbed versions of NTR's film? Will it fetch a positive reaction from Tamil Thambies? Wait & Watch!
