Will Devi hit a triple hat-trick?

Devi Sri Prasad has been continuing to give hits and popular songs ever since his Anandam days. There were few years where he decreased his work load and concentrated more on one or two films at a time. Now, he changed that policy and seems to be on a roll. With Thaman not being in his full form, Devi Sri Prasad has taken upon Telugu Cinema music like never before.

This year, he has hit all the right notes with every movie till now. He started off with Khaidi No. 150 and continued on with Nenu Local and Rarandoyi Veduka Chuddam. All three movies have become hits and his songs have become popular too. After that he went to score music for Duvvada Jagannadam, Jaya Janaki Nayaka and Jai Lava Kusa. There is debut about the films box office status but musically there is no debate, as they have been quite popular numbers from each album.

In a way, musically Devi Sri Prasad scored a double hat-trick this year and he us composing music for Ram Charan's Rangasthalam, Ram Pothineni's Unnadi Okkate Zindagi and Mahesh's Bharat Ane Nenu. He is also scoring music for Sumanth Ashwin and Niharika's movie, Happy Wedding. Well, Ram's movie is releasing in October and there is no clarity on other three films. If any two release at least audio by this year end, Devi might be looking at a Triple hat-trick, a feat only possible for likes of Ilayaraja, Keeravani and Mani Sharma in an year.
