DSP Skipped Saaho Failure
By: Tupaki Desk | 9 Sep 2019 7:35 AM GMTOne of the major drawbacks of Saaho is its music. The music plays a key role in the film's success and Saaho's makers failed to recognize that fact. Initially, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy were roped in as composers but the trio had walked out of the project due to creative differences.
Thus, the makers roped in four different composers for four songs and the background score is composed by Ghibran. Barring Ghibran's background music, all the songs were not up to the mark and failed to create any impact. Apparently, there was also a song composed by star music director Devi Sri Prasad.
It seems that Devi has composed an introduction song for Prabhas in the movie. Devi is known for giving foot-tapping beats, especially for hero-introduction songs.
But the makers later felt that there is no need of introduction song of the film and dropped the idea of shooting it. Thus, this song by Devi never seen the light.
The buzz is that the song did not impress the makers because of which they didn't take it. If not, Devi Sri could have added Saaho to his failures list and more criticism must have followed him unnecessarily.
