Director Hari, has his own knack of making variety action films. The filmmaker is known for making action films that have a screenplay pacing like never before.
The camera follows a car or an ambulance through the roads and it appears like it is running on a giant red bull overdose. The action and even dialogue delivery will be over the top.
He made it his own style and delivered big hits like Singham and Saamy with Suriya and Vikram, respectively.
Saamy made Vikram top star during his early days as the popular hero and it even broke Rajnikanth's Padayappa (Narasimha) records in Tamil Nadu.
With Anniyan/Aparichitudu Vikram became a huge star and he became popular all over South India.
After 15 years, he is coming back as Swami in Saamy 2. Interestingly, Harris Jayraj, who composed music for Saamy is replaced by Devi Sri Prasad.
In Singham series, for Singham 3, Hari selected Harris Jayraj but the film did not become a hit and even the BGM and music produced were not energetic as other films.
So, Hari decided to change Harris Jayraj and go with Devi Sri Prasad, who is in beastly form.
