Is Kaala A Hit?.. They Say So!
By: Tupaki Desk | 8 July 2018 6:14 AM GMTIs Superstar Rajinikanth's recent release 'Kaala' A Hit? Everybody knows the answer. Even Rajinikanth fans in Tamil Nadu were disappointed with the film. In fact, the poor openings of the film in Tamil Nadu have stunned the trade pundits.
There were reports in the Kollywood media that buyers incurred huge losses and Dhanush agreed to compensate their losses to the tune of Rs.40 crores. It is known that Rajni's son-in-law Dhanush produced 'Kaala' under Wunderbar Films banner. The reports went on to say that 'Kaala' has been bombed at the box office. It seems Dhanush is upset with the reports and he tried to clarify through his company's official Twitter handle.
The Wunderbar Films twitter handle came up with a tweet "We would like to dispel rumours run in few articles on #Kaala. Contrary to it, #Kaala is a successful and profitable project for Wunderbar Films and we thank Superstar for the opportunity given to us. We also thank the audience for the positive response given to the film."
While Rajini fans are happy with the statement from the production company, other netizens are trolling them for trying to make it a hit film after removed from the theatres.
