VIP2: Improper Planning Cost Them?

Tamil star hero Dhanush tried to achieve a market in Telugu for several years but he couldn't do it. But finally, he succeeded with 'Raghuvaran B.Tech', the dubbed version of Tamil film 'VIP'. The movie became a surprise hit and Dhanush achieved good popularity. The movie achieved more success on the small screen. If 'Raghuvaran B.Tech' is telecasted on TV, the audience will be glued to the television even now.
'Raghuvaran B.Tech' benefited because a big banner like Sravanthi Movies released the film and they have promoted well. But no other Dhanush film run well in Telugu. There was a curiosity among the Telugu audience when the makers announced a sequel to 'Raghuvaran B.Tech'. The makers could not cash on this curiosity because of improper planning and greediness.
They have done a mistake by ignoring the Raghuvaran in the title.. they have not sold the rights to the popular producer as they wanted more money. They have quoted high price and delayed finalising the deal. This has backfired. On the other hand, they have initially planned to release the film on July 28 in Telugu and Tamil. But they have postponed the release. They have released the Tamil version on August 11 and the movie got mixed talk.
Due to the mixed talk, audience lost hopes on Telugu version. This had a negative impact on the Telugu version business. They are releasing the film two weeks later now. They have competition from 'Arjun Reddy'. The audience are not showing much interest on the film now.. and bookings are not encouraging. Industry insiders feel that the makers are paying price for their improper planning, greediness.
