The boundary lines between one regional film industry an another are getting blurred rapidly. Movie lovers are watching movies from every language with the help of subtitles and it is making them familiar with stars of other regions too. Due to this, the market of star heroes is rapidly expanding and many stars are coming up with multilingual films and are trying to dub for themselves in other languages too.

We have seen Ram Charan and NTR dubbing with their own voices for 'RRR' in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Kannada. Tamil stars like Kamal Hassan, Suriya, Karthi, Vishal and others gave their own voice for Telugu version. As we know, Dulquer Salman dubs in Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil. He did once again for his upcoming movie 'Sita Ramam'.

Now Dhanush adds himself in the list. After getting a lot of recognition with his dubbing films, he decided to come up with a bilingual movie titled 'Sir' which is made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. On the occasion of Dhanush's birthday, the teaser was released on Thursday.

What surprised everyone is that fact that the 'Maari' star dubbed for himself in Telugu. Despite having some problems in the accent, he gave it his best shot. He would have opted to bring in a dubbing artist who gave his voice for many Dhanush's films. But the actor decided to do it himself thereby avoiding the prospect of 'Sir' sounding like a Tamil dubbed film. With this, Dhanush won the hearts of many people and scored a lot of marks.

Directed by Venky Atluri, this movie is bankrolled under 'Sithara Entertainments' and 'Fortune 4 Cinemas' banners jointly. Naga Vamsi and Trivikram's wife Sai Soujanya are the producers of this film. Yuvraj is the cinematographer for 'Sir'. Samyuktha Menon is the heroine in this bilingual while Navin Nooli is the editor. GV Prakash Kumar is the music composer. The release date of 'Sir' is yet to be announced.
