Dhruv Vikram Denies Rumours & Speaks About His Dad's Health Situation!

On Friday, it was reported that versatile Tamil star hero Chiyaan Vikram suffered with chest discomfort and got admitted to Kauvery Hospital in Chennai. This news went viral instantly and fans were concerned about their hero's health condition. There were rumors that he suffered a cardiac arrest but his manager, as well as the hospital officials, confirmed that he was admitted due to chest discomfort.
Their official statement says, "Popular Tamil Actor Mr Vikram has been admitted in Kauvery Hospital with complaints of chest discomfort. He was evaluated and treated by our team of specialist doctors. He did have a cardiac arrest, is currently clinically stable and will be discharged from the hospital soon."
Now, Vikram's son Dhruv Vikram posted a picture clarifying about everything. He wrote, "Dear fans and well wishers, Appa had mild chest discomfort and is being treated for the same. He DID NOT have a heart attack as reports falsely claim. We are pained to hear rumours to this effect. That being said, we request you to give him and our family the privacy we need at this time."
He further added, "Chiyaan is fine now. He is likely to be discharged from the hospital in a day. We hope this statement provides clarity and trust that the false rumours will be put to rest." As we know, Vikram and Dhruv acted together in 'Mahaan' which was directly released on Amazon Prime Video.
Chiyaan Vikram has two upcoming releases which will be released within a short space. While his multi-starrer project 'Ponniyin Selvan - 1' will be coming out on 30th September, his action-thriller 'Cobra' will be hitting the screens on 11th August. Hope he comes out of this health issue safely and recovers as quickly as he can.
