Dia Mirza Makes Startling Comments On Alia's Pregnancy!
By: Tupaki Desk | 3 July 2022 10:53 AM GMTBollywood star actress Alia Bhatt announcing her pregnancy on social media created a lot of discussion among the public. Despite being in a relationship for a long time, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor got married two months back and announcing the pregnancy news so soon led to a lot of insensitive comments on social media.
Actress Dia Mirza who is known for her movies 'Dus', 'Thappad', 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai' and others has come in public and supported Alia. Dia Mirza got married to businessman Vaibhav Rekhi on 15th February and announced her pregnancy within a few weeks which led to a lot of debate during that period.
During a recent interview, she said, "I feel when it comes to personal choice and the power of personal choice, it can only be celebrated by those who ensure they make personal choices, not threatened, not afraid of making the choice that you need to as an individual. And while there may be many people with regressive thoughts on things like premarital sex or premarital pregnancy or any other things for that matter, there are enough people who recognise the fact that it is a personal choice, that people have the right to do if they choose to. I don’t think we are as progressive as we imagine or as we consider ourselves to be."
