Sai Tej decided to give Mega fans a big event to celebrate his next release, Chitralahari. He appreciated their affection and made it all clear that he doesn't want to take their love for granted.
His speech and the movie trailer got good buzz for the movie too. But the event cost producers more than it normally would have, it seems.
The actor asked the producers to do the event at Shilapakala Vedika only even though it cost ten lakhs more. He said it is his sentiment and that cost them 15 lakhs, it seems.
Normally, for medium budget films, producers conduct these events at JRC function hall and they cost 5-6 lakhs. The sentiment of the actor did cost producers Mythri Movie Makers additional amount.
As the buzz is positive and the movie is getting good feedback, producers are happy it seems. Chitralahari directed by Tirumala Kishore will release on 12th April.
