Did Venky Mama Force Others To Announce Dates?

Haarika and Hassine Creations was never known for being the first one to pounce on an opportunity and announce a release date for their movie. They waited till December to confirm, Pawan Kalyan's Agnyathavasi for 10th January, 2018.
But now, they announced the date of Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo with Stylish Star Allu Arjun in October, itself that too without any hints.
Sarileru Neekevvaru team have been telling that they have an update but they too informed the date with an urgent tweet by Mahesh Babu, the lead actor.
Well, both the teams had to make an announcement to counter Suresh Baby's aggression, it seems.
Geetha Arts, Dil Raju own/have taken to lease major number of theatres while Suresh Films Distribution, single handedly have almost equal number of theatres with them.
So, when Suresh Babu decides to release a film, he is careful to not touch the egos of others and decide on dates when no one is ready to release their films.
He did the same during June-July period this year and released 5-6 films at a stretch. Most of them ended up collecting some profits with Oh Baby becoming big hit among all.
He planned Venky Mama as a festival film with Chaitanya and Venkatesh as leads during Dussehra - Diwali period. Film did not complete on-time due to Venky's injury and now, he is waiting for the next possible date.
As F2 gave a good scope to release a multi-starrer with more than 40 crores pre-release business tag all-over, he is looking for a date that will make sure such recovery as well.
Hence, he started a meeting with all areas distributors, exhibitors to know the theater availability during Sankranthi and Christmas seasons. Fearing he could get 12th January date and grab most of the screens from 9th and 10th releases, both big films who don't want a clash, decided to announce a clash just to confirm that distributors won't let him take away their theatres, which they have blocked already from Sunday.
Right now, he and his team is looking to confirm December 13th, 20th or 25th or 14th January dates for the film release. In December, he has to look at young heroes films and in January, he has to face combined might of Geetha Arts, Dil Raju and UV Creations - distribution wing.
Once he goes through all logistics and confirms a date, Dil Raju and Allu Aravind could meet and decide, their big star film dates corresponding to the USA premieres and completion of their respective films.
