Did Vijay Sethupathi demand so much for this Telugu film?

Vijay Sethupathi entered into Telugu Industry with Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Even though he had only few scenes, the movie will be regarded as his debut in Telugu.
He is currently doing Master with Lokesh Kanakaraj and it has Tamil hero, Vijay as the lead star.
His full fledged Telugu film is Uppena and even though several reports said that he quit the film, they are all false it seems.
Uppena is the debut film of Vaishnav Tej, brother of Sai Dharam Tej and the budget for the film crossed, 25 crores, it seems.
Out of that, only Vijay Sethupathi got 6 crores as remuneration, it seems. The actor signed up for a wage of Rs. 20 Lakhs per day and he shot for 30 days, it seems.
Reports suggest that he actually takes 4 crores per film but due to this wage per days scheme, he got more it seems. Buchi Babu directed the film and Sukumar writings, Mythri Movie Makers produced the film.
