Digital Troubles For 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu'!

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is currently shooting for his upcoming film 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' which is the costliest film in his career. Set in the pre-Independence era, Pawan Kalyan will be seen in a Robin Hood kind of role who steals from the wealthy bad guys and helps the poor good people. Directed by versatile filmmaker Krish Jagarlamudi, the film has been in the making for a long time and the shooting was postponed several times.
The movie is in the production stage and the entire team is working hard to finish the shooting by June or July. The team is currently filming key scenes in a specially designed set. The latest news about this film is that it is having some trouble regarding digital rights.
The film was announced three years back and AM Rathnam who is one of the producers of this big-budget flick reportedly sold the film's digital rights to Disney+Hotstar for 8 crores.
It was a very good price at that time but the growth in the OTT market over the last few years changed the equation completely. The audience have gotten used to OTT platforms a lot and big movies bring millions of views.
The producers are reportedly feeling that 8 crores are very less and they are trying to renegotiate the deal. Hotstar officials are said to be very determined on not to change the deal and it turned into a headache for the makers. We need to see if Pawan steps in and convinces the OTT officials or doesn't get involved in the money side of this movie.
MM Keeravani is the music composer for this film while Nidhhi Agerwal is the heroine. Arjun Rampal, Nargis Fakhri, Adithya Menon and Pujitha Ponnada are playing key roles in this movie produced by A Dayakar Rao and AM Ratnam. Gnana Shekhar VS is the cinematographer while Sai Madhav Burra penned the dialogues. The latest news reveals that sensational beauty Nora Fatehi will be seen in an important role too.
