VOZ earns profits for Dil Raju!
By: Tupaki Desk | 6 Nov 2017 11:41 AM GMTRam Pothineni has proved that he has a good enough market to push an average film to break even status in two states. Even though he is harmed by disasters, youngsters are liking his 'young' movies that talk about friendship and love more than routine masala flicks.
His latest film, Vunnadi Okate Zindagi has got a mixed word of mouth has few people liked and some did not. The movie ended up getting some good opening collections with weekend ending up at 11 crores share. The movie dropped big time after that but in Nizam, it had a stable run from Tuesday and ended the first week at 4.6 crores share.
The second weekend became crucial and with multiple releases many thought the movie might find it tough. Even though Garuda Vega proved to get some positive feedback, the film took some time to show the impact in collections and that helped Vunnadi Okate Zindagi to get good collections. The second weekend collections in Nizam are estimated to be 1.6 crores and the total stands at 6.2 crores share. Dil Raju, the Nizam distributor bought rights at 6 crores and he is into profit zone now. But rest of the areas are still to receive even break even status. The movie is estimated to have collected 16 crores share from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states, till now.
